Just 3 Easy Steps to Sign Up: 

• ​​Review our Information Session Slides for an overview
• Read the Edina FTC FAQ and the Adult Roles to decide your level of participation and adult role.
• Fill out the Sign-Up Google Form with your parents:
  
  • by 7/1/26 for All-In Teams.
    
  • by 9/3/26 for Competitive and Creative Teams.
    
  • by 9/10/26 for 6th Grade Explore Teams.
    
• ​Complete EPS Activities Registration with $105, no physical needed (opens 7/15/2026)

3 Steps to Prepare for your 1st Meeting:

1.  Confirm payment of FTC Dues and EPS Activity Registration.
*Pay by Zelle (individual account) ([email protected], FTC Dues_Last Name in Memo),
*Bring a check to your first meeting made out to Edina Robotics Foundation with “FTC dues” in memo line for: (Student Name)

2.  Bring ​4​ forms printed & signed by student & parent/guardian:​

• Code of Conduct
• Attendance Policy
• Cell Phone Use Policy
• Over age 13 Data Privacy Permission or Under age 13 Data Privacy Permission  ​

3.  Mentors will need to complete a background check with EPS:

• Look for an email from Edina Public Schools – ISD #273 with Dave Hicks or Ben Deutmeyer on behalf of [email protected] in late Aug/early Sept.

2026 cost is based on your Level of Participation:

• ​6th Grade Explore $400 per person + $105 EHS Activity fee
• Creative ​$600 per person + $105 EHS Activity fee
• Competitive $725 per person + $105 EHS Activity fee
• All In $725 per person + $105 EHS Activity fee
• Scholarships are available.
• All female or All High School based teams available

Information Sessions! @ Edina High School

• For new prospects interested in FTC (Location Pending, signup on the FTC Interest Form to get added to email list)
• August 11th 2026 ​
• Review our Information Session Slides that will be shared at the event.

Initial Meeting Schedules: 

• Initial team meetings and club training events can occur on Tuesdays, Thursdays or Saturdays. Exact dates will be communicated by email upon signup. Once regular season begins, meeting times are based on level of participation selected. 
• All-In Teams Only: Begins early August
• Creative/Competitive Teams: Begins mid-August​
• 6th Grade Explore: Begins mid-September
• If you are planning to be a coder, you will need a computer not a Chromebook.

• ​Creative, Competitive and All-In Teams Only: Saturday Sept 12th. 9:00-2:00 Season Game Reveal. Must attend the entire time unless taking the ACT
• 6th Grade Explore: Season Kickoff and Game Reveal Saturday Sept 19th. 9:00-12:00
