3 Steps to Prepare for your 1st Meeting:
1.  Confirm payment of FTC Dues and EPS Activity Registration.
(If unable to pay by Zelle, Credit card or Bank Transfer, bring a check to your first meeting made out to Edina Robotics Foundation with “FTC dues” in memo line for: (Student Name)
2.  Bring ​​6 forms printed & signed by student & parent/guardian:​
  • Code of Conduct
  • Attendance Policy
  • Cell Phone Use Policy
  • Photo Consent
  • Medical/Liability
  • Over age 13 Data Privacy Permission or Under age 13 Data Privacy Permission  ​
3.  Mentors will need to complete a background check with EPS:
  • Look for an email from Edina Public Schools – ISD #273 with Brittany Montgomery on behalf of [email protected] in late Aug/early Sept.
Initial Meeting Schedules:
  • All-In Team Only: August 13, 15, 20, 22
  • All Teams/All Levels: August: 27th & 29th, September: 3rd, Sat 7th (Everyone including Creative attends Tues & Thurs these weeks)
  • If you are planning to be a coder, you will need a computer not a Chromebook.
​Save the Date:
  • Tuesday Aug 20th. 7 p.m. Information session: For new prospects interested in FTC @ Edina High School Community Room (W222)
  • Saturday Sept 7th. 9:00-2:00 Kickoff:  Everyone attend the entire time unless taking the ACT
  • October 24 Tournament Forms Day: Both student and Adult Mentor will need to register with FIRST at no cost, in addition to tournament forms.

Virtual Robot - Here is a way to learn Android Studio and Java without any hardware! A great way to try things out without waiting for the build team! It does require Android Studio, but that's where we all want to end up.
